Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Flucie ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.flucie.com or join our early-access waitlist. Flucie is currently a pre-launch website: there is no downloadable app yet, and this policy will be updated once the product itself launches and collects data directly from children's use of the app.
1. Information we collect
When you join the waitlist through the form on this site, we collect the information you choose to provide:
- Your name
- Your mobile number
- Your email address
- Your learner's age (the child or person you're signing up for)
- Who you're signing up for (your child, a teen, yourself, or someone else)
- An optional message describing what you'd like Flucie to help with
We also automatically collect standard technical information when you browse the site: pages visited, general device and browser information, and approximate location derived from IP address, via the analytics tools described in Section 3.
2. How we use this information
We use waitlist information to:
- Notify you when Flucie opens for early access
- Understand who is interested in Flucie and tailor the product to real family needs
- Respond if you've asked us a question via the optional message field
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. This form is a waitlist signup, not a marketing list you'll be added to for unrelated purposes.
3. Analytics and cookies
We use the following third-party services to understand how visitors use this website:
- Google Analytics (GA4): collects anonymized usage data such as pages viewed and general location. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft Clarity: records anonymized session behavior (clicks, scrolling) to help us understand and improve the site. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
These tools may use cookies or similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and browser extensions such as ad blockers can prevent these scripts from loading entirely.
4. Where your waitlist data is stored
Waitlist submissions are stored in a private, access-restricted spreadsheet used by the Flucie team, and in our application database. Neither is publicly accessible.
5. Children's privacy
This website's waitlist form is intended to be filled out by a parent or guardian on behalf of a child, not by a child directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this website. Because Flucie is designed for children aged 3–11, we take children's privacy seriously and will publish a dedicated, COPPA-reviewed privacy notice covering in-app data collection before the Flucie app itself becomes available to children. If you believe a child has submitted information directly, contact us using the details in Section 8 and we will remove it.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information from our waitlist
- Unsubscribe from future communications, at any time and in one click
To do any of these, contact us using the details in Section 8.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product develops, particularly once the Flucie app itself launches. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and post a more detailed policy covering in-app data before launch.
8. Contact us
Questions about this policy or your information can be sent to hello@flucie.com.
This policy covers the flucie.com website and waitlist only. A separate, more detailed policy will cover in-app data collection before the Flucie app itself becomes available.
